What GoSellThere is
GoSellThere collects first-hand reports from vendors about markets, fairs, and festivals so other vendors can decide whether a booth fee is worth paying. Vendor experiences are the opinions and recollections of the vendors who wrote them. We do not verify most of them, and publishing an experience is not a statement by us about an event or its organizer.
What we collect
- Experience content — what you sold, when you attended, the fee you paid, your ratings, and anything you write in the takeaway field.
- Contact handle (optional) — a website, email, or social handle. This is never displayed on the public site. It is visible only to us, and only so we can follow up about an experience or a dispute.
- Proof of attendance (optional) — a photo or receipt you upload. Stored in a private bucket, readable only by an administrator checking it. It is never published, and receipts often carry personal details, so upload only what you are comfortable with an administrator seeing.
- Your IP address — held briefly in memory to rate-limit submissions. It is not stored with your experience and not linked to it.
- Event submissions — the event details you enter, which are published once an administrator approves them.
Vendor experiences are anonymous
We do not require an account and we do not publish anything that identifies you. A experience shows your product category, the month you attended, and the figures you reported. Bear in mind that a very specific takeaway can identify you to an organizer who knows their vendor list — write accordingly.
What we do with it
Experience data is aggregated into the booth fee ranges and return-intent figures shown on each event page. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your contact handle or proof files with organizers or anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Posting rules
- Only report on events you personally attended as a vendor.
- Report what happened. Do not state as fact something you cannot support.
- No personal attacks on named individuals, and no private personal information.
- One experience per event you attended. None written for or by an organizer.
We can remove any experience, refuse any event submission, and block any submitter, at our discretion and without notice.
Corrections and takedowns
If you are an organizer and an experience about your event is inaccurate, or you are a vendor who wants an experience removed, email hello@gosellthere.com with a link to the event. We will look at every request. We will correct or remove anything factually wrong or in breach of the rules above; we will not remove an experience simply because it is unfavourable.
To have your own data deleted, email the same address from the contact handle you left, or describe the experience well enough for us to find it.
No warranty
GoSellThere is provided as is. Booth fees, attendance, and organizer conduct change from year to year, and an experience describes one vendor’s day. Use it as one input into your decision, not as a guarantee. We are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on this site.
Changes
We will update this page as the product changes and move the effective date above. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
